Main topic of the conference: Data structures for linguistic resources and their applications

The conference is centred around all aspects of data structures for
applications in the fields of computational linguistics, humanities
computing and computer philology, for example, modelling XML-based
applications, the (semi)-automatic analysis and querying of annotated
corpus data, and linguistic data structures for the semantic
web. Contributions may address the following topics (among others):

		- Text technological standards for language technology

		- Humanities computing and computer philology: formats, methods, resources

		- (Semi)-automatic text analysis, text structuring and text annotation

		- Formal properties of linguistic data structures

		- Sustainability of linguistic resources (e.g., metadata)

		- Applications and data structures for corpus linguistics

		- Computational linguistics in and for the semantic web

		- Information retrieval, ontologies, text classification

In addition, contributions from other fields of computational
linguistics, speech and language technology, humanities computing
		and computer philology are welcome.

            Contributed Papers:

There are two types of contributed papers:

		- Full papers to be published in the proceedings (submission of extended abstracts)

		- Posters and system demos (submission of an abstract or system description)

We accept digital submissions only. Please use the web-based submission form.

            - Formal conventions for extended abstracts (presentations):

All abstracts must include a complete address on a seperate page, any references to the author(s) should be removed from the rest of the abstract.

                    | Size: |
a maximum of 500 words including headings, but without references |

                    | Formats: |
                    PDF, MS Word |

For accepted contributions of type (a) a full version of the paper is
due Jan 15th, 2007 for publication in the proceedings volume.

            - Formal conventions for abstracts (posters and system demos):

All abstracts must include a complete address on a seperate page, any references to the author(s) should be removed from the rest of the abstract. System descriptions should include information on technical requirements.
