Main topic of the conference: Data structures for linguistic resources and their applications

The conference is centred around all aspects of data structures for applications in the fields of computational linguistics, humanities computing and computer philology, for example, modelling XML-based applications, the (semi)-automatic analysis and querying of annotated corpus data, and linguistic data structures for the semantic web. Contributions may address the following topics (among others):

In addition, contributions from other fields of computational linguistics, speech and language technology, humanities computing and computer philology are welcome.

Contributed Papers:

There are two types of contributed papers:

  1. Full papers to be published in the proceedings (submission of extended abstracts)
  2. Posters and system demos (submission of an abstract or system description)

We accept digital submissions only. Please use the web-based submission form.

  1. Formal conventions for extended abstracts (presentations):
    All abstracts must include a complete address on a seperate page, any references to the author(s) should be removed from the rest of the abstract.
    Size: a maximum of 500 words including headings, but without references
    Formats: PDF, MS Word
    For accepted contributions of type (a) a full version of the paper is due Jan 15th, 2007 for publication in the proceedings volume.

  2. Formal conventions for abstracts (posters and system demos):
    All abstracts must include a complete address on a seperate page, any references to the author(s) should be removed from the rest of the abstract. System descriptions should include information on technical requirements.
    Size: a maximum of 500 words including headings, but without references
    Formats: PDF, MS Word
