Online Query - Uppsala Corpus - Latin transliteration

When querying the corpus, one can search for one or several consecutive words within the same sentence. You may opt for a case-sensitive search. Internally, the corpus exists in Latin transliteration. For query searches, either the selected cyrillic encoding or the internal transliteration system (cf.transliteration table) may be used.

Query results will either contain only the sentence containing the search string (= non-contextual output), or one additional sentence before and after the actual sentence containing the search string (= contextual output). Besides, the number of sentences in which the search string appears is given. When the option "show places of finding" is selected, the exact bibliographic source will be shown for every text, in which the search string has beend found. As a standard, only the internally used abbreviation of the text's name and description will be given. For further information, please visit our query options reference page.
