• You know that you can stop at any time. There will be no consequences, except that you will not be paid.
• You agree that your data may be shared in anonymized form and used in scientific publications.
• You confirm that English is your dominant language.
• You confirm that you have answered all questions truthfully and that information about unhelpful performance may be disclosed to Prolific.
• You agree that the quality of your answers will be checked manually and that it may take up to two days before you get paid.
• Please note: there are a few attention checks embedded in the task which have clear answers. If you miss too many of these, we will consider this to be inattentive answering and reject your participation. This means you will not be paid and Prolific will see your rejection. We apologize for having to introduce this measure, but in our previous rounds we saw too much evidence of this kind of free-riding, which is not good for the viability of the system.
