Dear all,

in the OSCL-meeting next tuesday, I will introduce into Support Vector 
Machines and present the results of my first experiments with SVMs.

A very nice introduction to SVMs can be found in chapter 7 of the book 
"Learning with Kernels" written by Bernhard Schölkopf. It is available
